HGV Class 1 – Tanker Driver (Days 4 On, 4 Off)

Basic Pay for a 4 day week is £792.45 per week + overtime £23 per hour. Nights out paid at £40 per night.

We are currently recruiting for LGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Drivers working out of our Selby Operating Centre;

Key Qualifications Required for the role;

  • Class 1 ( Cat CE Vocational Licence )
  • ADR in Tanks to cover min Class 8 & 9
  • Driver CPC Vocational Qualification

The Role;

  • Delivering hazardous chemicals in tankers throughout the UK
  • Compressor discharge as well as pump draw off at certain customers
  • Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern ( + Overtime shifts )
  • Doing nights out as and when required

The Training;

  • Full 2 – 3 weeks comprehensive training package carried out alongside an experienced Driver Trainer, followed by a final “ pass out “ with a Senior Assessor
  • Refresher Training on day 1 with Keep Legal, Drivers Hours, First Use Inspections and Company O Licencing
  • Full Company induction to include all PPE requirements and site procedures/ protocol
  • On-going regular assessments and re-training

The Salary Package;

  • Annual Gross Salary (Paid Weekly) for the 4 on 4 off shift (average 3.5 day week) = £38,844.00
  • Overtime Paid for additional shifts at £23 for all hours worked
  • Nights-Out Paid at £40 per night out
  • Current 4-on-4-off shift average gross earnings tracking at £60,000 per annum (inclusive of all OT shifts and N/Outs)
  • Holiday entitlement pro-rata to 16 days per annum + Bank Holidays ( if shifted to work on BH, a day in lieu elsewhere )
